Scotland’s world champion curling stars have returned home from Canada to launch a new nationwide campaign with the country’s only Scotch malt whisky cream liqueur brand, Magnum.

Since winning the World Championships in Ottawa in April, ‘Team Mouat’ has already been snapped up by Magnum as the official faces of the brand for 2023.

Led by Edinburgh-born skipper, Bruce Mouat, the foursome also took home the silver medal at the 2022 Beijing Olympics.

The team is now raising a glass to its continued success having scored a new UK-wide deal with Magnum, which will include a roadshow of promotional activities, special guest appearances, curling tutorials and tasting events across the country.

Magnum, which is crafted and bottled in Edinburgh, will also sponsor Team Mouat’s official match kit this year.

Bruce Mouat commented: “We’re really excited to be hitting the road with Magnum as part of its new nationwide campaign for 2023.

“As well as promoting Magnum, we’ll be helping to raise the profile of curling across the country and encouraging people to give it a go for themselves.”

Magnum is a fusion of single malt Scotch whisky and cream that comes in a reusable and recyclable stainless-steel flask which helps the liqueur chilled at optimum drinking temperature, without the need for ice.
