The Dalmore Distillery has announced a capital investment programme to build a new whisky making facility and visitor experience.

The programme promises to retain the character of the estate, with the existing premises to be repurposed, while a Pagoda sat atop The Old Dalmore Kiln will mark the heart of the reimaged distillery.

The investment is aimed at ensuring a sustainable future for the distillery, creating a new whisky making and production facility built to exacting sustainability standards and transitioning the site to a green energy solution.

Parent group Whyte and Mackay outlined last year its sustainability strategy, which set the objective to become net zero by 2040.
