Campbells Meat has partnered with other family-run businesses for a new marketing campaign promoting Scottish food.

Four billboards highlight the importance of family-run businesses to the Scottish economy, “showcasing the heart, soul and history” that goes into products.

Scotland is home to over 280,000 family-run firms, accounting for around 84% of all businesses in the country.

Campbells asked other businesses what being part of a family-owned operation means to them. Lynn Mann, co-owner of rapeseed oil producer Supernature, said: “Running a family business has been very fulfilling for us as we can share it with our children.”

Similarly, Brendan Reade from Isle of Mull Cheese added: “It makes us so proud to continue into the future as a collection of family-run businesses.”

Christopher Campbell, Director of Campbells Meat, commented: “Being part of a family-run business makes us value the product quality, the people working here and our customer relationships.”
