Dunnet Bay Distillers, maker of Rock Rose Gin and Holy Grass Vodka, is launching a Christmas TV advertising campaign in several Scottish cities and London.

The 30-second advertisement will air on Sky TV in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow and London from 12 November until 15 December.

It is anticipated to reach an audience of 29,000 households. Additionally, 122,000 AdSmart impressions will target people most likely to purchase gin online.

The ad shows the company owners on the nearby beach, the distillery, and the gardener foraging and tending the home-grown botanicals that are used to create Dunnet Bay’s spirits.

To underline the company’s authenticity, the campaign does not use actors but is voiced by the husband-and-wife team who co-founded and run the business, Claire and Martin Murray.

Claire Murray said: “With a growing number of consumers becoming aware of Rock Rose Gin and Holy Grass Vodka in the run-up to Christmas, we hope that this increase in awareness will encourage even more trade outlets to list our products.

“We know that consumers are increasingly conscious of the benefits of buying sustainable products and ours are made and sold in an eco-friendly way. With our careful use of water, locally grown botanicals, recycling, reuse, and reduction of materials such as plastics, plus our fully recyclable refill pouches for consumer use, ours is a company that is one of the greenest in the sector.

“I hope our genuine passion for product and place comes through in the advertisement.”
